Bull Winkle aka Willy is a 5 year old beagle/Bassett mix and weighs 24 lbs. He didn’t get a very good start in life and was recently confiscated from a hoarding situation. For that reason, he can be fearful around new people and in new situations, but once he trusts you, he is affectionate and loving. Because of that, he’ll need to be adopted by someone with dog experience and training. He’ll also need to go to a home without children and without cats. He does fine with submissive dogs.
He was sadly positive for heart worm and just completed treatment. He’s neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots. We’re still working on potty training; he has accidents occasionally. He is crate trained. Willy is an active dog and would play ball all day long if you let him. He sleeps close at night and wakes you up with a ball being dropped in your face.
